The Volkswagen Virtus GT is already establishing itself as the complete package for me.

 It rides smoothly, handles superbly, and is more powerful than I'll ever need my daily driving to be

It has a fantastic interior that has received loud acclaim from everyone who has ever sat in it,

The dashboard's red ambient illumination is primarily what attracts them.

And I adore the fact that it is a low-slung sedan; in fact, I would adore it if it were even lower. 

A little aftermarket suspension work, perhaps? Back then, it did wonders for our old Skoda Laura RS long-termer,

I did note a few things I wasn't too satisfied with in my opening assessment

 most notably the occasionally clunky DSG transmission and poor fuel efficiency
