Mercedes-Benz to introduce three dedicated EV platforms

During its yearly financial conference, Mercedes-Benz disclosed its next electrification ambitions

Every model in the German automaker's lineup will have an all-electric option over the next two years.

The Three-Pointed Star will introduce three specific electric platforms in order to accomplish this.

By 2025, these EV platforms should be available. As a result, the specialised BEVs may be created

For the European markets, Mercedes-Benz is also placing a significant wager on commercial vans.

Additionally, by 2025, they hope to have up to 50% of PHEVs and BEVs in their inventory.

The company will also go full electric by the end of this decade in the markets that will allow this transition.

The three EV platforms will be – 1) MB.EA 2) AMG.EA 3) VAN.EA
