While it was still in operation, Pontiac produced a tonne of thrilling automobiles. 

Some of the well-known ones include the GTO, Trans Am, and Firebird.

However, there were several more designs that carried Pontiac's recognisable logo and were just as legendary

At the top of this list is the Catalina. In 1950, the moniker first appeared as a trim package for the Chieftain.

But over time, it changed into a five-generation freestanding full-sized model

It was the apex of full-sized vehicles for Pontiac and a very well-liked vehicle in the 1960s and 1970s.
