Volkswagen revamped the Tiguan, its top-selling SUV in India, which also led to a Rs 49,000 price increase.

The redesigned Tiguan, which costs Rs 34.69 lakh (ex-showroom), now has a new dual-tone 

Volkswagen has also modified its 2.0-liter TSI engine to meet the new, stricter emissions standards.

The all-black interior of the Tiguan has been replaced with a grey and white interior. 

Volkswagen has furthermore included a wireless phone charger and seatbelt reminders for each seat

Six airbags, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, three-point seat belts, and adjustable head restraints

The 2.0-litre TSI engine, which is now BS6 Phase II-compliant, produces 190hp and 320Nm of torque

The update to the engine, however, has improved its fuel efficiency, with the SUV now having
